Women’s Group
Who We Are
The St. Lawrence Women's Group is an open group of women of all ages, talents, ideas, and abilities. It was formed in the late 1940s when the building was an elementary school. Many generations of families, parishioners, and students are a part of this great legacy and history at St. Lawrence Catholic Church and Newman Center.
-
Our group has sponsored and supported many events, projects, parish, and staff improvements. The Women's Group supports cleaning the parish, funeral services, events like the Christmas Bazaar and Spring Art event, and many more. This group has a long history and is known for our mission to "Join community through events" and does that with our outreach and community building. The women in this group are mothers, daughters, grandmothers, students, young professionals, and leaders in the community.
-
Group meetings are held monthly on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Newman Center Social Hall.
