Music Director Job Description

At St. Lawrence, We are a Catholic church making disciples of Jesus at the U

of M by building transformative relationships and raising up leaders in the faith with a goal to

provide a transformative environment where students, young adults, and parishioners at the

University of Minnesota become lifelong disciples. This role plays a vital part in creating this

transformative environment through music, especially at our Sunday and Holy Day masses,

where we seek to have joyful, orthodox, and spirit-filled liturgies. By recruiting, nurturing, and

developing the musical talent of parishioners and students, the Music Director helps foster

community and relationships and draws us all into deeper prayer and relationship with God.
